just got home

Hey all, just got back from the doctors office after my fight for VFC in Iowa. Lost a decision and the dude did a number on my face, They thought I had a fractured orbital and jaw. Both of these happened in the first round and the fight went all three rounds, the doctors were surprised that I managed to stay in the fight. If you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough. Have to go back in for a checkup in a few days to let some swelling go down but they said nothing looks bad right now. Had a great time out there, got to meet some new folks and it was a lot of fun seeing what the competition is like away from home. Both my fight and chase hacketts 155 title fight are up on purefight.org. Glad to be home and can't wait to get back in the gym and get back to work, losing sucks but is the best motivator and luckily this was a loss that I learned a lot from and am eager to get back to work on correcting my mistakes.
