Been working wiht my striking coach, and man i have so much to learn with striking. We focus a lot on the little details rather than just pounding out combinations. A lot of it has to do with footwork, and fighting from the right distance, and the placement of your hands etc. It takes a long time but i enjoy it as i know im making progress. Took a short trip home to new jersey for a couple of events. My grandpop passed away so we had his funeral, my good friend from high school is getting married, and i got to spend some quality time with my 9 month old niece.

In the middle of all im getting some cardio works outs in the jersey heat and humidity, tomrorow im sprinting the hills, as well as getting in some mitt work. I will also try to squeeze in a wrestling workout with some old teammates.

Training has been going really well, continuing to spar hard at grudge, along with working with my coach christian allan on my striking. He is an excellent coach and every time i ht mitts with him or go over technique i feel it make a difference. I still feel so new with striking that i can make big strides in short periods of time.
